How is Fluoride Application Made?
Before fluoride application, all surfaces of the teeth are cleaned with a process called polishing (with a special mechanical brush and paste) and dental plaque is removed. Then, a polish containing fluoride is applied on the teeth with the help of a brush. It is recommended that the patient not eat, drink or rinse his mouth for at least 30 minutes after the application.
